Hard ferrites have higher coercivity and higher remanence after magnetization. Ferrite magnets are cheap and widely applied in house hold appliance like horse shoe shaped magnets, metric motors, loud speakers, earphones .Soft ferrite magnets have been extensively used in the cores of RF tranformers , inductors, magnetic recorders.
